Baseball season has begun! Mason will be on the Cal Bears this year and this will be his first year of hitting off of the pitching machine - we requested the same coaches from last year and got them and we couldn't be more thrilled. They are such a fun group to be around. Last weekend was supposed to be the Opening Day Parade but due to torrential down pours and wind, it was cancelled. I don't mind it being cancelled, I just think they should have done it sooner. Our coaches worked on the float until midnight because the Little League said the event was going to happen "rain or shine". Our kids were excited, plans were made and they cancelled 1 1/2 hours before the event! Not cool. Mason was so bummed, he cried. The following day was picture day so our coaches drove them around in the float which made them all very happy.
A cheesy picture of Mason ... so cute.
They did such a great job on the float.
Look how cute the front was? I think we would have won for best float.
We have such great kids on the team.
Look at Mason's face in this one.
Looking forward to another fun year!
