Chicago - Part 1 .... of many

The kids were beyond excited to go to Chicago.  They were especially excited for the flight.  I went in to wake Kyla up at the crack of dawn and she jumped out of bed like you wouldn't believe.  I'm not sure she got any sleep the night before.  After a uneventful flight (the best kind of flight I could hope for), we arrived in Chicago.  Sharon and Brian picked us up and took us directly to dinner at Giordano's, the yummiest Chicago style pizzeria.  It has been around for 200 years.  SO GOOD.  What a treat.

OK, so Chicago style pizza was good but I can find that in California.  The hot dogs however, are out of this world.  Loaded of course and they use this very bright green relish that is so good.  I've yet to find that in Cali.  Could have eated 3 of those.

Who knew even airports could be fun?  He's thrilled to have a hug.

Good times having yummy snacks.

Mason never takes naps.  Not sure how this happened.  Maybe the 0500 wake up?
