Chicago - American Girl Store

One of the things on the agenda was to visit the American Girl store in Chicago.  Kyla has been wanting a doll for quite some time.  The store is massive.  They have a doll hospital, restaurant, hair salon and 2 floors of dolls and other goodies.  I'm pretty sure Kyla heard angels sing when she walked in there (and I did too).  Luckily, there was a Lego Store right next door so the boys were happy too.

Most of the dolls on the lower level were the historical dolls.  Those were fun to look at also.

The little tourist with her camera on her hip.  Smile.

Tons and tons of clothes.  Kyla chose a doll and an additional outfit.  They require a special type of brush for their hair so we got one of those also.

I was a little surprised that Kyla didn't choose the doll that looked like her.  She chose the cutest blond doll that had a few freckles.

Yahoo!!!

There she is.

Putting her other outfit on.

I feel so blessed to have a little girl to share these kinds of things with.  Kyla is a joy to be around and is so thankful.

Exhausted little thing - she fell asleep on the subway ride home.  Snuggling with Jenny.  (That's what she named her doll)  Just look at those cheeks.  Could kiss them right off.
