Happy Easter

M came running into my room on Easter morning and said that he had heard the Easter Bunny laugh and hop sometime during the night.  He can demonstrate the laugh.  It was absolutely the cutest thing.  I told him how lucky he was because I didn't hear anything.  They found the eggs right away and had such a good time.  We should color and hide eggs more often.  I don't have any pictures of the kids dying their eggs because they did it at my sister's house.  It's the first year I haven't done that with them and it made me feel a little sad ... and guilty.  They had a great time at her house.  They played, did crafts, went to the zoo, Chuck-E-Cheese ... and much more.

The Easter Bunny was more generous than usual this year.

They love "springs" - AKA Slinky's.

They even got a new toy each.  M got a new Toy Story Lego set.  K got a My Little Pony toy.

Chocolate Bunny time.

He's so good at finding the eggs ... and super photogenic.

Lucy and M.  He loves her so much.  We are all so glad we got her ... even Brian.  She's so much fun to play with and keeps us very entertained.

They also got new Swim Goggles in their baskets.

My mom stayed until about noon on Easter Sunday but then had to get home because of work the next morning.  It was an absolutely stormy, gloomy day.  The kids stayed in their jammies all day.  We did a lot of coloring and playing on the Wii.  It was quiet but nice.  K walked into the room and sang, "Who let the rain out ... ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh!"  You know, like the song "Who let the dogs out?"  M and I just about lost it ... we laughed so hard.

The sun was out today and we were ready to get out of this house.  We went to Sky High Sports this morning which was a blast (and a workout).  It's a huge room (several rooms) filled with Trampolines - they are even on the walls.  They also had dodge-ball and a huge foam pit for the kids to jump off the trampolines into.  Can't wait to go again with Brian.  We were all hungry after our workout so we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory ... one of the kids favorite places to eat.  They were so worn out, they were on their best behavior at lunch and devoured their food.  Afterwards we headed to McKinley Park which is a huge park in midtown.  Before we knew it, it was 5:00 pm.  What a great day.
