Kyla Turns 8 - Part One

Kyla has been roller skating a few times and loved it so she wanted to have her birthday party at the roller rink and then have the girls over for a slumber party.  We wanted to keep it small so she invited 5 or 6 of her closest friends and luckily they were all able to come ... although not everyone stayed the night (phew).

I didn't do a lot of decorating but put a few fun things up.

Trixie, being Trixie ... stealing the kids shoes while they are on the trampoline and running from them.  Ugh.

Roller skating ... I had a great time too (and didn't even break a bone).

Mason ... he wasn't a big fan of roller skating.  I don't think he ever got off the wall ... daredevil he is not.

Deep breath please.

Once we got home from roller skating, the kids started playing and having so much fun.  They played office, school, on the trampoline, with barbies and dolls and on and on.  Such a great group of kids.

Got the American Girl movie for the kids.  Needless to say, it wasn't a hit and the kids got bored of it in about 10 minutes and were off to play some more.
