Yellowstone - Part 1 (of who knows how many)

Each summer, we try to do a big vacation.  Well, this year we decided to do a big Cyr Family Road Trip to Yellowstone National Park.  All in all, we were gone for 11 days ... we saw 2 National Parks, 6 States and travelled 2425 miles.  It was a great time.  The kids never fought, I mean never fought once.  They also never complained about the long car rides ... AT ALL.  I think it must be in their blood.  Brian and his family used to go on a lot of road trips too.

I'm not sure why we didn't get a picture with the Welcome to Nevada sign but I think we would of had to risk our life to get it ... we decided to forget it.  ;-)

One of the cool places we stopped to eat along the way .. we were in the mood for Mexican food.

Just love the way this picture turned out.  I have a thing for old theaters.

We stayed the first night in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  I think we must have driven about 10 hours that day but we stopped frequently.  It's a good thing we just pulled into the hotel to sleep ... it got good reviews on the internet and although it was a great location (right across from the falls), it was a bit shady.  Had to climb through caution tape to get to the room from all the construction with a green pool and all.  LOL.

The falls were beautiful.  I could've listened to the falls all day.  But, we had our sights on bigger and better waterfalls in Yellowstone.  On the road again.
