Happy Hour

Because we have felt so welcomed and love our new neighborhood so much, we decided to host a Friday Night Happy Hour at our house.  It was very impromptu, I put invitations in the mailboxes of about 50 houses 2 days before the event.  Because we didn't ask for an RSVP, we had no idea whether we would have 10 people of 100 people.  6 o'clock rolled around and the everybody started showing up.  It was just the right size turnout - we think we had about 40 people.  We made Sangria Blanca and some appetizers and of course, wine and beer.  The Sangria was a hit for sure and we had to make out another batch 15 minutes after the party started.  I didn't get a chance to take pictures beforehand because I was so busy the here's a photo of the aftermath.  :-)  Can't wait for the next one.
