The "Wild" Indians - Farm Division League Champs

One of my favorite moments from the year is when Mason's team, The Indians, won the championship for the Farm Division.  Let me tell you, these boys played their hearts out.  They lost one of their playoff games and ended up having to play that team again for the championship game and won!!  The other team had some poor sports (parents and kids) and our team held their heads high and were very respectful.  It was awesome ... so proud of these boys.

A team photo - they were less than thrilled to take this ... can't you tell?

Fun with Jack

The only friend Mason really wanted to stay over on the night of his party was Jack.  Jack gave Mason a Nerf water gun and they battled each other the day after his party.  I had a good time watching but was worried about being in the danger zone with all that water around.

Tough guys.

Jack nailed Mason right while he was posing for me.  Too funny.

Sky High and Gift Opening

After playtime at the house, food and cake, we took the kids to Sky High Trampoline.  Always a good time for the kiddo's.  Just look at these sweaty kids.  Yuck.

Must have a silly photo too!

Brian got Mason a very special gift this year (I'm jealous).

An official autographed ball from Oakland Athletics, Josh Reddick.  I love him.  Enough about me.  Mason was thrilled and has shown it off to everyone since.

Oh yeah ... Lego Chima!

Mason's 9th Birthday

I can't believe Mason is 9 years old.  I'm sure I say that every year.  We're half way!!  Mostly sad about that.  We celebrated Mason's birthday a week early because his birthday usually falls on Mother's Day weekend and so many people have plans that weekend.  Plus his bestie, Jack wouldn't have been able to come that weekend.  We decided to have a get together at home and at Sky High Sports this year.  He was able to have some of his new friends along with his very first good friend, Jack and some old friends from Westlake Elementary.  Such a happy boy.  I loved seeing the smile on his face while he was surrounded by his favorite people.

We started out at the house.  They ran around in the backyard, had Nerf Gun wars, played Ladder Ball and jumped on the trampoline.  Good times.

 Racing.  Who's the fastest?

Brian wasn't sure they kids would like Ladder Ball but I talked him into setting it up.  They loved it.  Huge hit.  (told ya so)

Hot dogs, fruit and chips.  They hardly ate because they wanted to play.

Cake Time and Craziness

So, Mason is OBSESSED with all things baseball.  His 2 favorite teams are the LA Dodgers and the Oakland Athetics but he follows just about all of the teams by checking the scores on my phone multiple times and day and watching MLB Network constantly.  I found it fitting to have baseball themed decorations and cupcakes.  Didn't decorate much, just a few simple things.

Mason doesn't like cake but he'll tear up some cupcakes.  Go figure.

We're singing Happy Birthday to him in this one.

Laughing at all the Cha-Cha-Cha's.  Cutie pie.

Make a wish!

The kids chit-chatting and eating cupcakes.

Mason's Bestie ... Jack.

Boys being boys.

Nerf guns are always a huge hit.

A group shot.  Smile.
